Travel grants
Students enrolled at a Flemish university or university of applied sciences and arts can apply for a travel grant. This grant provides limited financial support for an internship or a research stay in one of the 29 scholarship countries, plus 8 recently added countries: Bangladesh, Brazil, Colombia, Ghana, India, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Zambia.
The Flemish university or university of applied sciences and arts is responsible for the selection and management of these grants.
What are travel grants?
A travel grant provides limited financial support for a study stay or research in one of our 29 scholarship countries, plus 8 recently added countries: Bangladesh, Brasil, Colombia, Ghana, India, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Zambia. The stay is recognised as a study component and therefore awarded with study credits (e.g. as a work placement /internship or a thesis).
